Our core services
High School to College Transitions Made Easy
From start to finish, we work with high school students beginning in the 10th grade to organize their college search, complete essays and supplements, produce a resume, draft the Common App and other applications on a timeline, search for scholarships, and much more.
Setting Goals and Timelines
From the beginning, goals are set with the student and the family to map the student's score goals and college targets onto the weekly task list. From there, we continuously measure where we stand in relation to the goal and what activities will move us steps closer to attaining and passing the goal.
Researching college programs
Every effort is made to match a student's program goals to university programs that would be a good fit for the student based upon matrices like the SUS (State University System) matrix for high school educators and guidance personnel. Metrics are used to correlate GPA and test score with acceptance rates at universities that publish accepted student profiles (what academic characteristics a university seeks in an applicant).
Follow-Up and Detailed Reports
After each session a detailed report is emailed to the family to describe the lesson, any slides, homework, and links to supplemental resources.
